A lovely capture with a great pose, lighting and detail, Yves. I have several bird books but sometimes I just google what I'm looking for and it works pretty well too. Very nice to see some photos of the juveniles.. great shot.
Thank you for the comment Heather. I have a lot of juvenile birds to show you in the comming weeks.
Nice find, as juveniles their colors are subtle to avoid detection however you were able to locate this one and make an awesome detailed capture
Thank you Clifford. I was lucky he sat in front of a black spot of a rotten tree. His pale color make it very visible.
This little one would have been tough to spot as he is camouflaged pretty good in that old tree. Nicely captured Yves. I agree the juveniles are so much fun to photograph. If you have access to Appleās photo software there is an info button that will help you identify the bird.
Thanks Debra. He sure fit well in that surroundind old tree. I tried to use the birds identification app of EBird. But all those app ask you to be member and gives your coordonate. I always stop there. And finaly, I don't realy matter about knowing the true name of a bird.
