A lifer for me. This short eared owl landed close to me. I was absolutely thrilled. He looked at me inquisitively. I managed to get the full sequence of his head tilt. This was my favorite.

Bugs and bears
Brown bear mom and cub, this was part of the previous wide shot. Not bothered by my presence, they came closer to the waters edge, foraging and maybe checking me out. I think what grabbed me most was all the bugs these furballs had swarming around them
