Beautiful capture of the Loon Yves. Shots like this are such a challenge to get but so rewarding too. The surroundings add greatly to the peaceful mood of the moment. It would be a dream come true for me to get a close up shot like this of a Loon.

I agree with Clifford, love the marsh settin. The foreground tree appears to be framing the water rings and the loon. Great focus on the loon Yves. That would have been a tough shot.

It made my day. I was expecting this close shot at a loon for few years. So far I had just a few opportunities but always too far away from the shore. It was a see-through shot and not an easy one, so I was very happy to finaly had a chance to do some fair shots.
