Heather Mellon

Beautiful capture of this special encounter Yves. Great work with the lens too.

Thanks Heather. Yes, this is the real pleasure of being in the nature with a camera. I may have found why my shots are overlighted (whiten). But I have to wait for testing - we are facing a week of rain actualy.

Clifford Dupuis

very nicely captured the DOF is spot on to emphasis the deer and put the rest of the image to a pleasing soft frame

Yves Langlois

Thank you very much Clifford. A surprising and nice moment.

Debra Plett

One of those sweet images that warms the heart. I really like the soft pale green Yves. The soft colour sets the mood with the sweetness of the doe.

Yves Langlois

Thank you so much Debra. Yes! it was a very sweet encounter.

Description
I was walking slowly along the Massawipi's river bank. At ground level, under the dense foliage of trees, I spotted someting that did not look like a tree trunk. So I checked through the 800mm lens to discovers a deer looking curiously at me. I moved gently to a better catch view and took some fast shots. From curious he turn to nervous so I left not to stress him.
