When the weather cooperates here on Northern Vancouver island I like to head out to one of my favourite spots.
This area likes to trap the fog through the valley, With a nice forest and Pinder Peak in the background its a nice recipe for landscape photography.
One this morning February 11 2026 I went out to my spot and set up, I waited close to 3 hours for the light to be just right to create a golden colour cast on the fog below.
I photographed the scene for close to 4 hours as the fog waved in and out of the trees.
