Description
"Northern Red Cardinal On Spruce Branch" by Debbie Oppermann. The bright red male Northern Cardinal, Cardinalis Cardinalis, with its conspicuous crest and black mask is one of the most recognizable birds. It lives in a variety of habitats and is often seen in suburban parks and backyards. In the summer, their sweet whistles are one of the first sounds of the morning. This Cardinal beauty was perched in the Spruce tree in my backyard in Guelph Ontario Canada.
