You sure caught the attack on the Harrier over top a beautiful part of the marsh. I agree with Heather, gotta feel sorry for the Harrier.

Thank you Debra. I'd say he usualy hunt over open field and bushes (like owls). The marsh offers a lot more but the hunting is more dangerous. Such is life.

Description
The northern harrier was under attack (non-stop) by three kingbirds. I am quite sure he got few beak shots on the head. He tried to get rid of the kingbirds for a minute but he was no match for them.
