Description
Imagine my surprise when driving down a country road and I come across a Greylag Goose swimming in a pond!! I live in central British Columbia and this type of goose lives in Europe where they forage for food in grasslands and live on the lakes in large flocks.
It wasn’t too hard to learn the back story on this goose ….apparently a farmer bought 6 of this species but they escaped as soon as they got to his farm. All the escapees have been found and relocated back to the farm except this one who is enjoying its freedom living in the wilds!
