It is hard to tell but this one might be an adult. I do not see any white tips on the brown feathers. Nice shooting and series Yves. I’m jealous! Lol

Thank you Debra. The Drummond (power)dam is the perfect place for shooting osprey or bald eagle. The Magog river is not too wide and has very shalow waters all across. There is always one of those birds fishing around.

Another interesting shot, Yves. Nice series.

Thank you very much Jane

Really interesting to see an osprey pretty much diving into the water for his catch. It shows how hard they have to work for that fish sometimes.. Great shot, Yves.

Glad to present the real day to day life of these birds. The classic beautyful photo showing the bird flying low over the water and catching a fish without beeing wet is gorgeous but what I observe is that most of the time it's rater a big dive straight in the water.

Description
Out of the many nice poses this is the move to extract out of the water.
