Great clarity on the bird in flight from such a distance, too. You worded this scene so well and I agree with Debra that it would make a beautiful card or poster together with your narrative. So well done, Yves.

Thank you so much Heather. A majestic bird in flight always produce that nice feeling of liberty. For me it started in the sixties with the long playing vinyl disk - Jonathan Livingston Seagull - ( by Neil Diamond )

Thank you Jane

Debra Plett

Nicely captured and described Yves. That certainly would have been tough to focus on. This image and narrative would make a very nice card or poster.

Thanks Debra. And many thanks to Mother nature who provided the perfect sky for that kind of shot. Perfect lighting on the bird too. When the focal is 600 to 800mm the autofocus is unable to pinpoint a bird in the sky. I struggle whit that problem since the beguining of the season. I found a trick recently. I set the focal to 200mm and the autofocus get the bird easily. Then While following the bird in the sky I raise the focal to 800mm and it work.

Description
Every living thing is a master in the art of making its place into the vastness of the harsh univers. The sum of all these efforts produce the beautyness I see all around.
