Very nice capture of this pair Yves and a pleasure to view. They remind me of the pair who used to come to the runoff zone in our yard each spring to feed and prepare for nesting season.

Thanks Heather. They are quite common here and used to the human presence. So They are my favorite subject when it comes to photograph the way of life of an animal.

Very nice composition and tones Yves. Spring is such a nice time to watch wildlife interacting with each other. That long lens enables you to stay far enough back as to not scare them off allowing you time to enjoy the moment before capturing the moment. Well done.

Thanks Debra. Agree with you for the 400mm+2x. I love working with that setup. But I still have a light issue under certain condition of shooting.

Description
Those mallard duck caught my attention for the way they were acting. I look at them for a little while then realise they where doing alternate feeding. Each one was waiting until the other get his head out of the water to take his turn under the water. Like many group animals, one is checking out for enemy while the others are feeding. I spent a very nice moment watching them.
