Terrific composition Cliffford, I really like how there is a spattering of clouds running just above and along the length of the trees. It gives the composition so much depth and direction.

Thanks Debra, Much appreciated!

The cottonwood trees stand out beautifully against that sky, they have a unique otherworldly look about them too. Easy to see what a perfect habitat they provide for birds and other creatures. This park is on my bucket list and you captured the view very nicely here.

Thank you so much Heather, I appreciate your comments and if you get to visit you will not be disappointed

Thanks Yves, it is almost a surreal place along the river in stark contrast to the badlands that are also in the Provincial Park

Great composition, Clifford. Makes me want to be there.

Clifford Dupuis

thanks Jane and yes it is an awesome place

You did a great job framing those trees to match your interesting description. The pâle grass does magic to separate the foreground from the subjects. It gives the hole image a nice 3D look. Very well done.

Description
In addition to the formidable rugged badlands of Dinosaur Provincial Park in Alberta, this park also provides habitat for more than 150 species of birds. They can be found under the canopy of these cottonwoods along the banks of the Red Deer River.
