He blends in perfectly with his surroundings. Beautiful detail in this capture, Debra, and I love the mottled pattern of his plumage.
Thank you Heather. He took me by surprise from a distance I did not notice him at all. I wasn’t sure what I was seeing at first as he was alone, the other gulls were on a rock outcrop further away.
At first I didn’t see the gull he was so still and camouflaged so well. I took a couple of shots and moved on I didn’t want to scare him. Thank you Yves for commenting.
