I also liked the serenity and harmony. Very impressive.

There is a sense of calm in this beautiful scene you have captured so well, showing off this beautiful duck apparently oblivious to you. Great shot.

I was using the car as a blind in this shot Clifford, probably helped. The first thing I noticed was the stillness of everything around me and how gorgeous the reflections made the scene. Thanks you for comments Clifford.

A great bucolic shot with a very beautiful duck. The stillness of the water allow for amazing reflections. The surrounding round wakes gives just a little moving action to the scene. Appreciate the opening in the cattails and a view of the sky. Interesting too are the two 45 degree angled cattails. Their reflection make some kind of brackets with the duck in between. Gret shot.

Thanks for your feedback Yves always appreciated. In this particular spot the reflections stood out more than the marsh itself. One of those moments that you take a deep breathe and say thank you to Mother Nature.

Wonderful detail on the blue winged teal, rippled reflections and cattails in a very serene looking view of this marsh. I love the mood you captured in this beautiful shot Debra.

Thank you very much Heather for your feedback, always appreciated. Even after the duck had swam out of view I took a moment to enjoy my surroundings…very calming moment.

Description
There is an abundance of marshy areas in Riding Mountain National Park. It was a calm and sunny morning when I took the picture of this male blue-winged teal.
