he Great Egret is a dazzling sight dressed all in white and set against the colourful red and gold background as it flies past a fall forest. A tall, stately white wader of quiet waters it takes flight when disturbed. The Grand River at Wilson's Flats Elora/Inverhaugh Ontario has been known to host the odd Egret and I was thrilled to see it in flight.
