Description
I was lucky to watch this family of Eagles last summer raise 2 Eaglets that both successfully fledged the nest. After the family headed North for the salmon run their nest tree went down in a windstorm. We have seen the Eagles since however it doesn't look like they found a tree to rebuild in for this season.
The day I took this photo the Eaglets were 7 weeks old & Mom had just brought some lunch to the nest. What an amazing experience to watch this family from incubating eggs to the youngsters taking their first flight.
