Description
This photograph was taken at the Nublet point of Mount Assiniboine provincial park. Climbing all the way to Nublet before sunrise is the challenge, especially hiking in the dark, with a headlamp, worrying about bears and cougars. It was quite an adventure. When I actually reached there and enjoy sunrise, I felt all the efforts were well paid off. There were so many mosquitoes on the peak, and I probably got more than a dozen bites while shooting this image.
