Description
We managed a whirlwind up to Bonavista this past weekend and got a quick look from a distance at hundreds of PUFFINS, they're BACK!!! This pair, was involved in a courtship "process" that was exhibited in other "couples", that we observed, they were rubbing their beaks back and forth almost like an old fashioned (perceived) Inuit nose rub!! WE were suggesting they get a room!! Cute huh!!! None ventured to the mainland...so this pair was photographed while on "Bird Island" at Elliston. What a treat to see and watch these lovely little sea birds that only come ashore once a year to reproduce!!!
