Description
These Bighorn sheep in Jasper are often seen licking the salt that is used to melt snow and ice along the highways in the park. Parks Canada uses less salt to avoid these situations as they can be an obvious hazard to the sheep and the drivers. The salt contains essential minerals that they need in their diet. Here is a wide shot to showcase the stunning mountains that these sheep call home as well.
