Nice series and storyline Yves. This one is my favorite, however, the dead end shot is quite good with the female chasing the male off. They are quite camouflaged against the river bank. Nicely seen and captured. Have a great 2025 photographing Yves.

I had the opportunity to view the courtship rite of a sandpiper. At the beguining the guy morphed to show a big torso. He walked a minute or two along the river bank to impress a female that has landed few minute ago on the grass a little farther in the back. (taken jun 2024)
