Very cool action shot Yves. It is a lot of fun watching ducks. They test your photography skills for sure. I agree with Heather the female stands out nicely. I love the turbulent water as well.

Thanks for the nice comments Debra. Usualy I capture the merganser and keep on walking. This time I sat on a picknic table and watch them fishing for half an hour. I saw them do things that really surprises me.

Description
A group of 8 common mergansers fishing the Magog river gave me some pretty nice shots. They normaly patrol moving forward in a slow pace and quite distant from one another. All of a sudent, for a reason I can't figure out yet, they flip into the fast and furious mode (as shown) for few seconds. May be one of them found someting and the others rush to the target.
