Nicely done Yves. The band of colour adds nice depth to the image. The orange reflection from the tree brings ones eye back down to the heron. Nice composition.
Thank you Debra. You're right about the orange reflection. This scene was quite far away. to the naked eye I could only tell there was someting on the stump. The 800mm confirm the beauty of the scene lighted whit the rising sun. Very proud of that one.
A Heron is always a nice subject and to have him take center stage against the soft colorful background is well done
