Description
This gorgeous fox kit was seen and photographed in eastern Newfoundland in early July...if you like drop a comment...After speculating about its species ID I received some input that it could be whats referred to as a Cross...essentially a red fox that has black pigments in its fur and skin ( I think ) . Other things Ive read indicate that the condition happens when a red and a silver fox mate...Like much of the information found on the internet its a toss up to know whats accurate....its a handsome looking little fox either way, I think you'll agree! This one was enjoying the morning sun light playing amongst the rocks of the shoreline
