Description
I was in my kayak with my camera in my lap while I slowly paddled towards a pair of loons. One loon was calling for its partner to come closer. I was marvelling at the sight and sound of the loon when out of the corner of my eye something caught my attention. I gave a quick look around, spotting a bald eagle soaring above the lake so I reached for my camera. To my delight the eagle flew down to the water, grabbed a fish with its talons and flew in my direction. It all happened extremely fast so I was grateful that I managed to get a few photos.
