Very pleasing close-up view of the lily pads and sparrow with his catch Yves. Nice tones and detail in a terrific candid shot.

Thanks Heather. I like to do shots on day to day life of nature.

The sparrow looks like he is stretching to catch an insect. I like how the Lilly pads appear as stepping stones for the sparrow. Lots of nice texture and interest in this image Yves. Nicely captured.

Thanks Debra. You are right. He is not about to catch someting, he just snaped a dragonfly. I did a big zoom and the whit string that fall out of his beak is the body of a dragonfly.

Description
Like femal blackbirds do, sparrows walk on lily pads and jump from one to another. One of my challenge in the summer is to succeeds with an action shot of them hovering above the lily pads. The little bird moves fast and erratic. Opportunities are numbered but not the success.
