This is an awesome shot. The action is tack sharp and the story is amazing, definitely something to witness

Thank you Clifford I appreciate your feedback. This nest is becoming my favourite nature spots to be between April and September. Always interesting once the chicks are flying.

Wonderful action capture Debra. You probably couldn't have chosen a better day to photograph this little family or better timing on this shot. One of life's biggest moments for them and a rare opportunity for any photographer. Well done.

Hi Heather I am not sure what happened to my earlier reply it seems to have disappeared. Thanks very much for following the Osprey journey with me I always appreciate your feedback.

Jane LeBlanc

I agree with Yves. Great job, Debra.

Thank you very much Jane.

Yves Langlois

Great capture of the majestic bird. Perfect shot. I love that pose of the bird. Glad you have that close contact with the osprey family and appreciate the story you made of.

Hi Yves, I am not sure what happened to my first reply. I waited an extra day to see if it would eventually find its home. So be it I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the much appreciated nice comments.

Description
This may have been the juvenile Ospreys first flight. He was sitting just by the clump of green leaves for quite a while letting the wind play with his wings. The female Osprey was moving back and forth between the nest and the pole chirping at the youngster. In this picture she is sitting low in the nest on the left hand side waiting for junior to make his move. So cool to watch the dynamics of the nest.
