Heather Mellon

He stands out very nicely against that sky and has already developed into a very handsome bird. Excellent compo, focus and detail in this absolutely beautiful capture Debra.

Thank you Heather, every summer I watch for the Osprey to return and miss them when they migrate back south for the winter. I learn new things about them every year.

Jane LeBlanc

I love the simplicity of the shot, and catch light in the eye. Great job!!

Debra Plett

Thank you Jane, I like simplistic shots like this as well.

Yves Langlois

Wow! super shot Debra. The juvenile is the star here. Great colors and lighting, a simple pole and sharp details. Some feathers tel me it's windy. Good to learn to fly.

Debra Plett

Thank you Yves I always appreciate your feedback. Indeed it was windy. When the birds on on this pole the sun is behind me and typically on a sunny day I will get a nice vivid blue sky.

Description
The juvenile Osprey is sitting proud on the pole across from the nest. He is quick to watch the sky as he has seen his parents do.
