Love the gleam of her feathers in the sunlight, she shows very nicely against a busy background. I think they leave after the last chick has fledged but will probably return to visit the nest box occasionally as I recall. These birds are well worth pausing for and you got a great shot of her Yves.

Thank you for the very nice comment Heather. I was lucky that she had the morning sun on the right side to get the bright blue and pure white. She is very beautyful, waiting patiently.

Nice one Yves, great composition to accentuate the colors

Thank you for the comment Clifford. This bird box is on a corner of an open field along the Massawipi trail I use to hike. Not sure they will stay around for the summer, but if so, I expect to do some bird in flight.

Debra Plett

Very nice capture and story Yves. The angle really shows her off against the background bush.

Thanks Debra. That shot is done with the 2x under the best condition ( subject is far away and a sunny day). I am still experimenting with the 2x and I have learn few things so far.

Description
Many chicks to feed. One is waiting for the return of the other from catching insects to do the same. I took a little while to look at them.
