I like how you have captured the little ones face as he appears to be looking through the opening directly at you. Great detail on the bear as well. Very nice

This bear seemed to be very personable. I caught him in another position with what seemed like a welcoming smile. Thanks ver much Clifford.

Very well done Debra. I always appreciate a good see through shot. You really got the face spot on and the pose over the fallen tree is so cute.

Thank you Yves, I only had a few moments to get this shot. I was very excited to see the bear in amongst the fallen trees and bush. A few other cars had stopped to take pictures and the little bear moved off the tree.

Heather Mellon

You caught him in the perfect pose and setting nicely framed by the fallen trees and subtle tones of his surroundings. Another excellent and very beautiful capture in every detail Debra. After missing out on the moose and elk I'm so happy that you got an opportunity like this.

Debra Plett

Thanks very much Heather. I was very happy for the opportunity in front of me. Most of the bears were very intent on eating grass and dandelions. I am going back to Riding Mountain in the fall, towards the end of the Moose and Elk rut. Maybe I will get a few pictures then.

Description
This little black bear was just on the edge looking for bugs in the tree and decided to stop and take a rest over the dead tree.
