Thank you so much Jeff. It will always be one of my favorite swan photos and I have a lot of them :)

Wonderful closeup Heather, the feather detail and colours are amazing. I agree with you that the mottled colours really give the cygnet a lot more definition. And that alluring glance adds another level of mystery to the image. Nicely captured.

Thank you Debra, always appreciated. So true, it's hard to tell from a distance how expressive they are and what refined features they have. I'm just happy to have gotten an opportunity like this.

Great colours and sharp focus. I like it very much Heather. Beautyful face with lots of expression. Love that sideway eye contact. Nicely done.

Thank you so much Yves. I especially like how the mottled colours bring out the detail of their beauty at this stage of their lives. Once they change colour some of that detail seems to disappear with the sharper colour contrast on the beak and facial features. They're so expressive and aware of their surroundings and I think this shot captured that nicely.

Thank you so much Clifford. I love that expression too.. it was a treat to be able to capture that fleeting and very expressive glance in only a couple of shots before he went back to feeding.
