Awesome capture Clifford. The landscape is so interesting and I am sure has a wealth of history and stories. The colour and texture in the shot are amazing. So nice that you have the added touch of the Mountain Bluebird. I will have to add this area to my bucket list to visit.
I love the way you compose the scene to present us those magnificent hoodoos. You certainly have a great comprehension of light behavior. That allow you to get so nice the chalenge of those white surfaces under a harsh sun. For me the bird is not a hazard but Mother Nature's real action in your life. She put it there just for you to add someting exceptional to your shot. Glad you have that strong relation with Her.
