Description
The famous Mazinaw Rock, a landmark at Bon Echo Provincial Park, Ontario, is a 100-metre (330 ft) high cliff that stretches for 1.5 kilometres (0.9 mi) along Mazinaw Lake. The rock or cliff-face has been painted by the indigenous Algonquins with beautiful figures along the water's edge between 300-1000 years ago. You have to access the pictographs from the water in a kayak or a canoe to see them.
