Description
On the water in Port McNeill, BC, this (grizzly) sow's cub was to her right. They were on a small island and were about to take a short swim to the mainland, when I captured this image. Mom and cub swam about 100 feet to greener pastures, where they proceeded to feed on the newly sprouted grass.
