Description
Went to check out a small pond on Old King Road, Bolton, Ontario and saw and took a few shots of two Canadian Geese and 2 duck in a small area of the pond that had open water. As I was about to leave a Great Blue Heron flew in and landed in a tree at the far side of pond allowing me to take a few zoomed in shots of it. That pond provides a great source of fish and frogs for the herons over the summer. The Humber River flows through the downtown area of Bolton and the heron/ herons are often seen at different locations along the river.
