Description
The village of Mount Uniacke is but a quick trip away, and hosts the Uniacke Park and Museum. It was the estate and working farm of John Uniake, at one time a young, poor Irish immigrant who became Nova Scotia's first Attorney-General. It is a lovely spot, where one can gather one's thoughts while taking in the view of Lake Uniacke and what were the pastures and grazing lands for John's cattle and sheep.
