A very nice spot to rest and get in touch with Mother Nature. Appreciate the compo with just the middle part of the image with luminous lighting.

Thank you Yves. It is always a nice spot to visit.

Clifford Dupuis

What a great capture with a very pleasing mood

Thank you Clifford - got a bit lucky. That sunshine was the last of the day before the clouds took over completely.

Debra Plett

It looks like a very peaceful area to do just that Bernie. Very nice composition with the large tree on the left reaching into the clouds and framing the entire landscape. The picnic table overlooking the lake perfect place to unwind. Wonderful capture.

Thank you Debra - that tree is a very large, very old and 'gnarly' oak tree. Very impressive when one stands beneath its branches which seem to stretch out forever. And the whole area is indeed peaceful.

Description
The village of Mount Uniacke is but a quick trip away, and hosts the Uniacke Park and Museum. It was the estate and working farm of John Uniake, at one time a young, poor Irish immigrant who became Nova Scotia's first Attorney-General. It is a lovely spot, where one can gather one's thoughts while taking in the view of Lake Uniacke and what were the pastures and grazing lands for John's cattle and sheep.
