Yves Langlois

Gorgeous scenery Debra. Straight opening of the water, The star is that little patch of grass in the blue. It leads the eye to the duck in the soft light of the morning. Good for a printed copy 19x27cm on the wall.

Yes Yves that little patch of grasses is what I really liked as well. Thanks for checking out the picture much appreciated.

A very peaceful feel to this photo, Debra. I somehow want to be viewing this same scene resting against the grasses in a canoe.

Thanks Harold, they do have canoes that you can rent to paddle through the marsh. I am not sure if they allow individuals to bring in their own canoes.

Heather Mellon

Gorgeous tones and lighting in this stunning image, Debra. It's so beautiful and peaceful looking, and the duck adds the perfect focal point. Great shot!

Thanks Heather, I like this view of the marsh as well.

Description
This was a very serene part of the marsh, the sun was just starting to show a hint of colour in the sky. This duck was not alone, there was three of them swimming in and out of the reeds having fun before the marsh became crowded for the evening.
