Fossils-300 million years ! Think about it. The Joggins Cliffs in Nova Scotia on the Bay of Fundy, are home to many fossils of the Carboniferous period, a time when subtropical growth dominated the area. Today we see this growth preserved for eternity in the fossils found in and along the cliffs. Even the fossilized remains of the oldest known reptile, which existed before the dinosaurs, have been discovered here. The Joggins Cliff Park are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
