Description
A tiny Cerulean Warbler shows off its beautiful blue plumage during a brief visit recently in Frontenac County north of Kingston, Ontario last week...these are not too common this far north, more so in the USA. I believe...they migrate from the eastern slopes of the Andes mountains to breed, luckily their range extends this far north. Imagine this tiny little bird making the trip here from South America and the hundreds of obstacles that it faces to fulfil its drive to breed. I got to spend a few minutes during a quick encounter while out for a drive! Sadly, this species is another wonderful creature who's numbers have had tremendous declines due to habitat loss...I felt priviledged to see and be able to photograph this beautiful little warbler
