Great job, Harold. I use that app, too. Very helpful for sunrise, moonrise, etc.

Thanks, Jane! Yes, It's also good for showing where the light falls at any particular location at any particular time. It's quite accurate too.

Thanks for that, Debra! Trying to incorporate light into my compositions is what I concentrate on first in my photos now. I'm learning to slow down and look for where the light is shining and then move to a location where I can capture it. Sometimes I have to change locations to see the light. With wildlife, often it's a matter of waiting for an animal or bird to move into or turn toward the light. I always take a couple of photos first in case that doesn't happen. I use a website called Photographers Ephemeris to tell me where the sun or moon is going to shine at any particular time of the day.
