Description
One of my favourite birds, I was lucky to see a Northern gannet from close up as well on the trip to Machias Seal Island. I've seen them a lot in working on the water over the years but interesting to observe their behaviour on land; moving very purposefully and seemingly quite territorial, chasing off any smaller birds within reach.
