A bolt of lightning over my favorite photography subject. I’ve been photographing the slow fall of this church for the last 13 years. I’ve tried for this shot with lightning many times over the years without the success I was hoping to get before it disappears forever. I just got the shot I’ve been dreaming of and am so happy. The little German country Lutheran church just turned 100 years old this year. Happy Birthday old friend!!
