Description
Spent the weekend with good friends back country canoeing at Lakeland Provincial Park, AB. After hearing a wolf pack howling in the morning, there was a big splash in the lake 50ft in front of us; what happened I don't think many people will have the luck of seeing, let alone documenting. The Hungry Grey wold managed to get a bite into the hind of the Whitetail but likely kicked in the process, the buck continued to swim onto the peninsula we camped on and the wolf slipped back into the forest.
