Description
Frozen Milk What a night! I left my house thinking I was going to head to Algonquin and sleep but when I got there I saw stars. Around midnight it starts to cloud in so I went for a drive to see what wildlife I would see late in the night. I came across a wolf pack between Tea Lake and West Gate. I then slowed down a car to warn them. They stopped and said if you see us down the road waving you down that means we are out of gas. Lol So a couple minutes later I see them pulled over. After driving them to the gas station and back to Algonquin I decided to go back to the location I seen the wolves and get my snow pants on sit in the ditch and howl. Roughly 1 minute later I hear a rustle in the bush and then look beside me to see a wolf standing about 10ft from me. Then he sat down to enjoy the night with me. I sat with this wolf for about 30 minutes to an hour trying to wait for sunrise so I could capture this wonderful animal in the wild. As the sky began to show any sort of light (still horrible lighting) the wolf looks at me, stands up, gives a little bark and then went on his way. That was one awesome experience with wolves again. I LOVE wolves and love Algonquin Park. For a extra bit of awesomeness I got some pictures of a Bald Eagle on the way back home. So sweet. Thanks for viewing.
