About Me

I caught the photography bug early from my father, upon seeing my enthusiasm he presented me my very first camera for my 14th birthday, an Asahi Spotmatic Pentax SP500, with the 55mm super Takamar kit lens, way back in 1971. That camera served me well for about 15 years until it's mysterious disappearance! Now i shoot with a Nikon D7000 with an array of three prime lenses ( 6.5mm fish-eye, 50mm and 90mm.) and two zooms ( 28-200mm and 150-500mm.) Nature fascinates me, so I tend to lose my self in the process of photographing the oddest objects sometimes! Recently I have become addicted to time-lapse photography, especially of the Aurora Borealis, utilizing the Nikon's built in intervalormeter, my home offers a fairly good view of the Northern sky, so i can shoot from inside my sunroom avoiding the worry about weather when I let it shoot overnight for approximately 7 hrs..
