About Me

Photographing pets give me a immense soul joy!, discovering their personalities and capturing with an image their world, little expressions and movements... For the last 4 years I have been volunteering my time as a pet photographer to the SPCA animal shelter in Squamish BC Canada. I photographed rescued cats and dogs that arrive at the shelter, capturing their essence and personalities, to be able to help with an image, find their forever homes. My rescued pet photos have been selected by the SPCA Vancouver social media to be featured on Thank You Cards sent to the donators, media and advertising to create awareness of animals in need. National Geographic has also published one of my images for their assignment story " The Animals We Love" ( published June 2014 ) I have recently moved to Topley BC Canada, with my new husband Stan Labatte. We live with 30 + rescued sanctuary dogs. These dogs live with us for life. My husband Stan and his mom Yvette Labatte have been rescuing dogs for the last 25 years with their rescue society 'Turtle Gardens', with over 5000 adoptions and 30 + sanctuary dogs
