Hello everyone! My name is Zoe Bystrov, and I am the founder of a community group based in Barrie, Ontario called Youth for Lake Simcoe. Since March 2020, the group has been conducting clean-ups in wooden areas and on the shoreline to reduce the amount of plastic contamination. So far, we have conducted 80 clean-ups and counting, and have collected more than 150 bags of garbage and recycling in total! I am sharing my photos of sunsets and wildlife on behalf of the group from Lake Simcoe and surrounding areas in hopes to promote the beauty of the natural environment in the region.
