Turkish Airlines, also known as Turk Hava Yollari AO, was founded in 1933 with a fleet of five aircraft. It is today a well-known international airline. The Turkish Airlines group is a current member of Star Alliance (TK) and now operates a fleet of 328 (cargo and passenger) aircraft to up to 300 destinations globally, including 49 domestic and 300 foreign destinations, in up to 121 countries spread over six continents.
