Description
A male Wood Duck in its brilliant breeding plumage is one of the most striking species of waterfowl we get to see. During the mid summer to mid autumn, males can look quite drab as they go through their plumage moult, but by December they are looking irresistible. This photo was taken in December a couple of years ago.
