What a privilege to view this family of coyotes (Canis latrans)! I found them in the shadows on the edge of a forested area looking out over the openness. They were very aware of my presence and I waited motionless trying to get all 5 of them into the same frame (which I did not manage). It was obvious my presence made them uneasy so I rapid fired the camera and then left them in peace.
